MTI prepares and strengthens local church leaders—pastors, deacons, elders and teachers—through challenging courses, personal mentoring and practical ministry experience. While designed for anyone serving the local church, MTI’s primary aim is to equip and raise up new pastors for the future of our denomination.
Online Cohort-based theological education
MTI programs are designed for students to be theologically formed for ministry through coursework and intentional mentoring while living out their education in their local church and ministry setting.
Two certificate programs
Leadership in Ministry Certificate
The 60-credit Leadership in Ministry Certificate is our flagship program. Offered over 3.5 years, it provides a path to train for senior leadership in a local church or parachurch ministry.
Christian Studies Certificate
The 32-credit Christian Studies Certificate is designed to equip those seeking to serve in their local church with a strong biblical and leadership foundation.
